Girls Camp for Natalie...

I used my super cool camera to capture this bear on the first day. Even though he looks really close he is actually way up in the mountain. The only animal encounters we had were with dear, skunks, and mosquitos.

I sat and had my hair done while I was supervising the Archery area during free time.

This was a fun thing the girls really liked. Except for the girls walking right in front of ready to shoot bows it was fun!

My 2nd Year girls and a few friends. We hiked up a switch back trail and this was the first stopping point.

Most of us went the rest of the way up. The view was amazing!

We could see back to our camp and even yelled down to the girls in the meadow. The yelled back but we could not hear them.

Highlights of my first year back to girls camp since my youth:
  • late night chats with the girls in my tent (even thought I got in trouble for keeping someone up till 2:30 a.m.)
  • Laughing so hard it hurts by the fire with the ladies in my ward
  • getting the frog out of Wendy's shower
  • Having someone splash water on the girl in the stall next to mine (meant for me) ooopps
  • Dancing like a teenager at the dance party
  • Doing embarrasing skits in an old lady swimsuit and flower swim cap
  • not caring about my hair or clothes
  • getting to know awesome young women
  • having a spritiual boost
  • singing camp songs my own way even though I am off key and add things they don't
  • having someone else cook for me and inviting me in to the kitchen for midnight snacks
  • learning that the bishop actually has a sense of humor
  • Being included into my new ward without reservation
  • A serious self-esteem boost because those girls made me feel so loved.
  • Learning new games
  • pranking and Jenny trying to prank me...better luck next year sweetheart!
