Ethan participated in Pinewood Derby last year and had a blast.
This year he ended up using the same car with knew wheels and a knew paint job. He sill went with the shark theme.
His car did not place this time but he still had a good time. In his words, "It doesn't matter if I don't win. Just that I have fun." 
He won an award for MOST PATRIOTIC. After I explained what Patriotic meant he said a big ."WHAT???" I know right! His car was all black, had two googly eyes on the front, and a number 9 sticker, and is shaped like a shark. So uhhh patriotic huh? Anyway we had a good laugh and then took a sharpie and crossed out patriotic and put (per Ethan's request) MOST SHARK-LIKE. All is well now!

Ethan, way to go! I sure got a good laugh out of his “Most Patriotic” award! Yes, “Most Shark-like” is a little more fitting. :) Good job, Ethan!
