What's new with Lily!!!!

Lily is seven and in the first grade. Lily is our drama girl but in a really good way. The moment I take out the camera she poses. She is so fun to be around and has a very positive attitude. She has become a great reader and even though she does not enjoy it too much, she is learning how fun it can be to pick up a book and read it to herself. Lily enjoys being the teacher. She likes to play preschool with Jayci and Nolan. She loves her polly's and barbies and anything outdoors. She has a great imagination and is very creative.
the other day Lily told me that she thinks boys try to impress her. I told her it was because she comes up with such cute outfits. She thinks it is because she has a cute purse. When we were at the library last night (just the two of us) she took out her wallet so she could use her very own library card. She then asked the guy there to give her a "sec" while she put her card away. She cracks me up with how "adult" she likes to be. She also loves to shop. She says, "Mom, I just feel like spending money".
Lily likes wrestling and is not at all shy to be partnered up with the boys. She prefers it over wrestling with Jayci. Lily is one tough girl and I am glad she is learning to be strong.
Lily also particpated in a school group called TOPPs where kids can choose jump rope, hoola-hoop, pogo stick, cup stacking, or double dutch. Lily chose jump rope and loves to get out there and show off her backward jumping. They get to perform at the College basketball games and we get in for free. It is a lot of fun.
